How to download and install mekar
We provide three ways to access our platform: native Android app, iOS web app, and desktop browser. Choose the path that suits your device and preference.
Android APK installation
Download our mekar APK directly from our app page. Open your Downloads folder, tap the APK file, and follow the installer prompts. Grant permissions for camera (identity verification) and location (tournament-specific odds). The app installs within seconds and does not require any third-party app store account.
Android 7.0 and above are supported. If you see a warning about "Unknown sources," go to Settings → Security → Unknown Sources and enable installation from unknown sources. This is a standard Android security setting and applies to all direct APK installations.
iOS browser and home-screen app
On iPhone or iPad, open Safari and navigate to mekar.app. Tap the Share button, select "Add to Home Screen," and name the shortcut "mekar." The app will appear on your home screen as a web app. Tapping it launches mekar in full-screen mode, mimicking a native app experience with push notifications for live-game updates and withdrawal confirmations.
iOS 12.0 and above are supported. Web-app mode caches recent game data locally, so you can view your recent bets and account balance even if your connection drops temporarily. Withdrawals and new deposits must be completed in connected mode.
Web browser access
Visit mekar.app on your desktop, tablet, or mobile browser. No installation is required; all features are accessible immediately. Your account and game history sync across devices, so you can start a sportsbook bet on your phone during a Liga 1 match and continue from your laptop without re-logging in.
The web version uses the same payment integration (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet) and settlement timings as the app. Browser-based access is ideal if you prefer not to install software or if you want to use mekar on a shared device without leaving a persistent installation footprint.

Device compatibility and system requirements
mekar runs on Android 7.0+ and iOS 12.0+, covering devices from the last eight years. Android users require 50 MB of free storage for the APK; iOS users require 30 MB for the home-screen web app. Desktop browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) are supported on Windows 10+, macOS rules+, and Linux. All devices must have a stable 4G or Wi-Fi connection for live-table streams; 3G or satellite connections experience buffering on high-definition studio feeds but can access text markets (football odds, esports scores) without interruption.
Common installation and access issues
If the APK installation fails, check that unknown sources are enabled in your Android security settings, and ensure your phone's date and time are set correctly (mekar uses certificate verification tied to system time). If mekar.app refuses to load in your browser, clear your cache and cookies, then reload. If you cannot receive SMS verification codes, check that your phone number is entered correctly (include the country code +62 for Indonesia) and that your phone plan includes SMS capability. If live tables freeze, reduce your video quality in mekar's settings menu or switch to a stronger Wi-Fi connection. For account access issues after installation, contact mekar support via in-app chat or email; our team responds within two hours during business hours and provides account recovery assistance if you lose access to your registered email address.
Permissions, data, and account security
The mekar Android app requests camera permission (for identity verification photo uploads), location permission (for tournament-specific odds filtering), and notification permission (for live alerts). You can deny location and notification permissions without losing core functionality; camera access is required only during the verification step and can be revoked afterward. We at mekar encrypt all account data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, using industry-standard TLS 1.3. Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text. Payment details are tokenised through our payment processor and never stored on mekar's servers. Two-factor authentication is available via SMS or email; enable it in your account settings to add a second verification step during sign-in. If you suspect account compromise, change your password immediately and contact mekar support. We will audit your login history, freeze any pending withdrawals, and secure your account within one hour of verification.
